This Is Me!
My name is Remi Friedman, I am 22 years old and am a recent college graduate. I spent four years at SUNY Oneonta, where I received a bachelors degree of science. During my time in college I studied Communications and Event Planning.
I am eagerly searching for a role in the Corporate Events industry where I can use my current knowledge and skills, while also gaining new experience in the field. I am seeking a challenging, yet rewarding job!
Why Events?
I first gained interest in the Events industry during my senior year of high school. In 2015, I was helping out at AGI Events Inc. where I learned how much I enjoyed working in the industry.
From this moment on I began getting myself involved in assisting for all types of events. In college I ran many events for my organizations and clubs as well as interning with event companies over my summer breaks. Through my volunteer work and internships I gained exposure to the professional field of events.
I love collaborating with others to bring events to life!
Events I've Worked On!
This was a pop-up event I helped plan during one of my summer internships. We brought the brand, Nestea to life through an iced tea tasting.
Rockin' For Robbie was a bi-annual philanthropy event I had the honor of planning. This foundation raises funds for play therapy for terminally ill children. We raised over 1k to donate!
Another event I got to help work on during one of my internships was for Infiniti USA. This event took place across three US cities to empower guests to do what inspires them.
Through my major I was able to plan a luncheon to dedicate an alumni and to reveal the new academic lounge named after her. Barbara Weigand was being honored for her donations to the school.
During another internship I helped organize the Mery Playa launch event. Mery Playa is a swimsuit company started by model Sofa Resing and musician Mery Racauchi.
